Western Culture, Destructive and Unsustainable...

Western culture is inherently destructive and will eventually be unsustainable. Westerners claim to have civilised the world, but I beg to differ all westerners have done is destroy cultures and impose their own way of life.

The first westerners in the orient saw how oriental craftsmen put together tables and chairs without the use of nails or screws and came to the conclusion that oriental people were too stupid to make screws and nails. When actual fact their craftsmanship was so good that they did not need screws and nails

The western out look views any culture that has a simpler way of life as being inferior. Yes Africa did to have large commercial farmers, Africa did not have industry (in the European sense) we did not have large cities, cars or electricity. But we did not have pollution, overpopulation or urban decay either.

Let me ask a question, were Africans on the verge of extinction before the whites came? The answer is no. So what exactly did the whites save us from? What whites simply did was destroy a way of life that had evolved over tens of thousands of years, this way of life allowed people to live in harmony with their environment. This concept is alien to Westerners and westernised people because they are constantly in conflict with their surroundings. Indeed we did not have telephones but we did not have ddt contamination in the Sabe river basin and unsustainable cities.

The Poverty of Africa before colonialism is just a perception; we did not think that we were poor until whites told us that we were poor. The same thing for a lot of cultures that have been displaced and destroyed, the American Indians knew their land, so did the aboriginals, so did the Africans. Most of the problems in the developing world come from trying to grapple with a system that was imposed, a system that is based on unsustainable exploitation of the environment.

What happens when the oil that you fight for now is finished? Dear Racist, tell me what will happen when the ozone layer is gone? Then what? When all the forests are gone and all the rivers are polluted? The colonialists in their arrogance failed to see the simplicity and balance in the cultures they destroyed. In all their vast intelligence they failed to understand some thing so basic and simple.

That is why when people say that whites built Zimbabwe I disagree. The white man simply imposed a flawed system that is giving us problems today. This system needs to be hammered out and adjusted to fit our context, since there is no turning back now.The white man did not teach the black man how to eat. We shall learn to stand on our own. Useful Western technology is like a gift the white man is the wrapper, do you not discard the wrapper after opening a gift? What exactly does Zimbabwe need whites for? We can farm we can mine we can run factories, there is no evidence that we not capable of doing so. This brings me to the conclusion that whites are redundant in Zimbabwe, all we need to do is to put our house in order and work together for the betterment of our beautiful country .

dont forget that civilisation is a matter of definition. and yes, we enforce our culture in other areas. its called survival of the fittest, and thats the most natural rule that exists on this planet. if a culture isnt strong enough to survive, it is so for a reason. the colonialization was in no way an attempt to build up africa. why would we even bother? it was only used by the european nations as a display of power, and of course to deport black slaves, as a good.

after the colonialization, noone cared about africa anymore. and if you had put a little more effort into it you could have managed it. ill say it again, its survival of the fittest, if you cant withstand being colonized then thats your problem. and if youre also unable to learn from your mistakes and change things in the future, and intead blame the "bad bad whites" for all YOUR failures, then you should ask yourself what the point of your pitiful existance is.

and yes, the nature is being destroyed. that, however, has nothing to do with civilisation or culture. its because the human is like a parasit, and the planet is teh breadwinner. its not a product of culture, culture is a product of this global exploitation. you act like the are only virtues in africa. and no vices. but the only reason why africa isnt known for things like greed is the simple fact that theres NOTHING to be greedy about in africa. all you have is sand, aids and black people.

and as you ask for the future - we are working on making it better than the present. what are you doing? youre just sitting around, complaining. we at least have a future. you have none.

Kwa kuwa nia kubwa, shughuli inapoanzishwa ni kuona inaingiza faida, inashauriwa kuwa ni muhimu kabla ya kuanzisha shughuli za kiuchumi yafaa uchunguzi yakinifu ufanyike.

Kutokana na taarifa ya uchunguzi utaweza kubaini kama shughuli unayokusudia kuanzisha itaweza kuwa na faida au la. Watu wengi wamefanya makosa katika hatua hii na wameishia kulalamikia wenzao wanaofanya biashara inayofanana kuwa wamewazibia riziki.
